continent_code | string | Two-letter continent code, e.g. "NA", "EU". |
continent_name | string | Full continent name. |
continent_geoname_id | number | GeoNames identifier for the continent. |
is_in_european_union | boolean | True when the country is an EU member state. |
flag_emoji | string | Unicode flag emoji for the country. |
region | string | Administrative region or state. |
city | string | City-level location. |
timezone | string | IANA timezone identifier. |
latitude | number | Latitude in decimal degrees. |
longitude | number | Longitude in decimal degrees. |
geo_confidence | number | Confidence in the city-level answer. Returns 0 when there isn't enough evidence to state one. |
A field with no value comes back as the string "none", or 0 for numbers. The API never returns null.
