Your usage
What the dashboard home page shows and how to read it.
The Dashboard page shows how your API key is being used. Pick 7 days, 30 days or 90 days at the top right to change the period.
The four numbers
| Card | What it counts |
|---|---|
| Requests | Lookups made with your key in the period, with the change against the period before |
| Requests today | Lookups since 00:00 UTC, with the change against yesterday |
| Left today | How many lookups you have left before the daily reset |
| Success rate | The share of requests that were answered, not refused or failed |
Charts
- API requests: your lookups each day in the period.
- Today's quota: lookups used and left today, your plan, its daily limit, when it resets and how many active keys you have.
- Where your lookups come from: the countries of the IP addresses you looked up, on a map and as a top list.
- Responses: how each request was answered. Answered is a normal response. Over the limit means the daily quota was used up (
429). Bad request means the request was wrong, usually an invalid IP (4xx). Server error means something failed on our side (5xx).
Getting started card
Until your account has a key and its first request, a Get started card at the top walks you through both steps. It disappears once they're done.
